The Story

Hi friends!!! Meagan here.

I have been writing down my thoughts in the form of blogs for several years now, and a lot of people know I struggled for a long time with my blogs. First, I couldn’t decide whether or not I should be writing them at all. Are my thoughts coherent enough to be written down, am I solid enough in my faith to write about spiritual struggles? Then, I couldn’t decide whether or not I should be posting them. Are the things I write for my gain or for everyone else’s, and am I writing for an audience instead of for myself and for the Lord? These were the kinds of questions that I had. Eventually, I decided that the best decision was to continue writing out my thoughts and to start posting them for others to read as well, because I received a lot of encouragement to continue in this direction. I had strong convictions this was the right thing to do. And ever since then, the amount of feedback I have had on the things that I have written has made me realize that it’s not just important WHAT I’m saying, it’s HOW and WHERE I’m saying it. Which brings me to you.

The world is full of stories. Those closest to me know that I am an avid storyteller. I just want you to know that if you are reading this, your story is welcome here. This place is for all of our stories.

I believe social media can be a good thing—a positive thing, something that can be a really beautiful thing if used well. And that’s what I intend to do. I have had the desire and conviction to use this medium as the platform that it is for some time now, and today is that day. The goal is that my thoughts, stories and just everything that needs to be written will end up here.

I truly hope you’ll join me in this journey.
